Note - Neither William Evans nor Lynn Thomas are listed on the Ystradgynlais War Memorial, but both are Commonwealth War Dead whose remembrance graves are contained within the churchyard of St. Cynog's. Brinley Davies is classified as Civilian War Dead, and not on the Ystradgynlais War Memorial.
